2. Fill the container with water: Use distilled water or tap water that has been left out for 24 hours to allow any chlorine to dissipate. Fill the container with enough water to cover the roots of the bamboo.

3. Place the bamboo in the container: Gently place the lucky bamboo stalks in the container, making sure the roots are submerged in water. Position the container in a location with indirect sunlight.
